Superman Has Been Cast, and Another Batman Casting Rumor

For some strange reason, Warner Bros. decided to announce the casting of the new Superman (for the Superman reboot directed by Zack Snyder) on a Sunday. Honestly, I'm fairly sure the suits at Warner Bros. really have no idea how much of a gold mine they have with the DC Comics characters they are sitting on, and this is the reason they either don't promote the franchise well, or hire crappy people to make/star in their movies (Josh Brolin, Ryan Reynolds, etc.). Anyway, here he is, Henry Cavill:

In other (and more interesting) news, rumors are going around that Robin Williams may be playing Dr. Hugo Strange in the new Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises". That would be interesting given that just last week we had the casting of Bane (Tom Hardy) and Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway), meaning that Selina Kyle definitely would not be her Catwoman persona if Nolan goes the two villain route again.

There you have it, kids. A weekend's worth of Warner Bros. news, because as I said before Warner Bros. doesn't know the worth of their superhero properties. If they did, they would be marketing them a whole lot better just like Marvel does with their properties.
